Rev. ΔΗΜΑΡΧ ΕΞ ΥΠΑΤO ζ Aquila between two signa; that to the left surmounted by wreath, that to the right by hand.

Reverse struck slightly off center, otherwise, pleasant very fine.

The dies for this coin were certainly produced by the Rome mint. The issue must have served a military purpose connected to Trajan's activities in Arabia and later in Mesopotamia.
