A note from BCD: A very rare, practically unobtainable, offprint that, in spite of the text being in Greek, is very valuable as it supplies reasonable quality photos of excavation coins found at Elis during the early 60’s. It was a pleasant surprise to find out that this publication had actually been located and consulted when writing up the Hadrian Provincials in the recently published RPC III. One more piece of evidence pointing to a first-rate book, the likes of which we are unlikely to see printed in the future due to everything from now on appearing “on line”.
