Eastern Europe, Imitations of Roman Republican. Eravisci. AR Denarius (17 mm, 3.24 g), after 59 BC. AR Denarius (17mm, 3.24 g, 5h). After an obverse of L. Roscius Fabatus from 59 BC and a reverse of Cn. Lentulus from 76-75 BC.
Obv. Head of Juno Sospita to right; T behind.
Rev. Globe; rudder to left, thunderbolt and small X to right; RAVIS (S retrograde) below.
Davis Class B, Group II; Freeman 11 (dies 8/C); for prototype see: Craw. 412/1 and 393/1a (for obv./rev.).
