εθνών, πόλεων και βασιλέων του Αθηνήσιν Εθνικού Νομισματικού Μουσείου,
κατατεταγμένων και περιγεγραμμένων. Τομος Α΄, Αφ΄ Ισπανίας μέχρι των της
Μακεδονίας Βασιλέων.
Athens 1875. 4to, new binding, tan linen
with blue leather spine label, gilt letters; 274 pages, 5 plates. Bound-in
original card cover (repaired), otherwise Near Fine.
A note from BCD: Out of the 5 plates only the last one has very accurate etchings of what were
considered the most interesting coins at the time; the other 4 have monograms
and legends of remarkable accuracy and finesse of execution. At the time, the
first (and only) volume of the Athens Numismatic Museum covering Spain to
Macedonia.
