Exhibition catalogue, Kunstmuseum Luzern, 11 August-27 October 1963. Square
8vo, illustrated card jacket over plain white card covers; unpaginated, b&w
photos throughout, foldout map. Cover chipped, interior with some discolouring
at edges. Good.
A note from BCD: A little known exhibition catalogue of the Robert Käppeli collection. The first five sections show ancient sculpture and
artifacts but the sixth, with an introduction by Herbert Cahn, describes and
illustrates one hundred superb Greek coins that have now been dispersed in the
market. A folding map of the Hellenic world showing the mints of these coinages
is appended at the end.
