eAuction #39, Lot 223. Estimate: CHF 10.00
Schweizerischer
Bankverein, Zurich, 2. 27 October 1977. Antike Münzen. 647 lots, 56 pages, 38
plates. Prices realized list. Hardbound, illustrated glossy boards. Very Good.
CS 1688
A note from BCD:
The star of the auction, a genuine Akragas
decadrachm estimated at CHF 225000 was hammered at CHF 140000. There is a
misprint on the estimates sheet with prices for lot numbers 37 and 38 switched.
The last seven plates are enlargements. The Greek-Roman and Byzantine experts
were, respectively, Messrs. van der Wielen and O’Hara, both notorious, but for
different reasons.
Due to the differing shipping costs, depending on the weight and destination of the orders, individual invoices will be sent out on Monday, July 6.
Please note that overseas shipping can be expensive. For additional information, please contact us in advance.
