A note from BCD: The notorious “Anaphe” unique half-stater (a little
on the heavy side at 6.97 g.) inaugurates this short-lived series that was
terminated with a joint publication with Margaret Thompson of a hoard of
Alexander drachms (not offered here). All three parts of this book are from the
library of the late Joel Malter, with his ex-libris.
