A note from BCD: Coins and historical medals of Dutch interest predominate but the consignments of German and Italian coins are also important. On one of the plates a “Gold collar of the Order of Leopold” is illustrated that sold for three times its estimate of 4000 Guilders. In the numismatic literature section a Jacob Hirsch XIII (Rhousopoulos) was estimated at 325 and sold for 400 Guilders.
