Olympia, Elis. Hera Mint. AR Hemidrachm (15-17 m, 2.73 g), 360 BC (the 105th Olympiad).
Obv. Head of nymph Olympia right, wearing pendant earring, plain necklace and a sphendone; in fields, F - A.
Rev. Eagle with closed wings, standing left, looking back; all within olive wreath.
BCD Olympia 124 (same dies). BMC 77 = Traité III, 1121 and pl. CCXXXIII, 3 = Seltman pl. XII, 11 (same dies).
Extremely rare. Darkly toned. Very fine.
