D N VALENTINIANVS P F AVG, Pearl-diadmed, helmeted, and cuirassed bust of Valentinian III facing slightly right, holding spear over his right shoulder and shield decorated with horseman motif. Rev. SALVS REI PVBLICAE B, Theodosius II (larger) and Valentinian III (smaller) enthroned facing, holding mappa and cruciform scepter; above, star; CONOB in exergue. Depeyrot 79/2; RIC X 242.
