Rare. Partially flat strike, otherwise nicely toned and good very fine.
The
siege coinage of Aire-sur-la-Lys was struck during the War of the
Spanish Succession from the silver plates of the governor Marechal de
Guebriant. The city surrendered to the Allied Forces after two months.
