Mantineia, Peloponnesos. AE Chalkous (14 mm, 1.85 g), c. late 4th - mid 3rd Century BC.
Obv. Head of Athena wearing Corinthian helmet right.
Rev. MAN, Poseidon seated left on rock, holding trident and dolphin.
BCD Peloponnesos 1490 (this coin).
Extremely rare, apparently unpublished. Good very fine. An interesting coin, either a Dichalkon of very low weight, or, rather, a Chalkous.
