Spring 707 A note from BCD: The cataloguing of this anonymous collection was the “swan song” of Leonard S. Forrer (junior) who at the time was working with Jacques Schulman and writing his auction catalogues. His obituary and his photograph are printed as a forward to the text. All eighteen plates of the catalogue illustrate ancient coins with the Greek pictured in the first eleven. Roman coin photos make up the remaining plates with the exception of a few Byzantine pieces on the last one.
