Monnaies de Collection, Médailles. 485 + 29 lots, 8 colour plates plus
illustrations throughout. Prices realized list. Glossy white illustrated card
covers, slightly bent and discoloured. Interior Very Good.
A note from BCD: Greek and Roman gold, silver and bronze start this
catalogue, with the CLARITAS AUG four-profile aureus of Postumus certainly
stealing the show. Eight enlargement plates, one picturing the best ancients,
demonstrate superb colour photography on black backgrounds. A specialized
collection of Alsace and Lorraine follows with originals and reprints of
numismatic works bringing up the end.
